7th October,2025 the Egg Stall at the top of Cuckoo Hill was attacked.

Chris Jones from Cuckoo House, reported the incident to Suffolk Fire and Rescue
A passing motorist spotted the fire at 22.20, immediately contacted Chris and between the two of them
extinguished the fire.
The cover had taken the worst of the damage, but the rest was saved before further damage was done.
