Arson Attack on Ancient Barn in Bures

I appreciate that arsonists crave for publicity and usually watch the fires from a distance to give themselves some bizarre form of satisfaction
As the Fire has been covered by all of the local Newpapers and even on the BBC News, I decided that no further harm could result, because of these web pages.

The fire, which began at approximately 5:50 am at the Barn on 13th February, is currently under investigation by Suffolk Police as a suspected arson attack.

The police have indicated that this incident may be connected to a previous fire at the village cricket club.
It is highly probable that all five fires, are the work of a serial arsonist targeting our village.

Fire crews from Nayland, Sudbury, and a Water Carrier from Leiston responded to the incident, utilizing two hose reel jets and two main jets to combat the blaze.

Additional water was later required and that was supplied by the
Halstead Water Carrier.

I had a conversation with Suffolk Fire and Rescue, Media Office about the use of the Leiston Water Carrier.
Quote- A water carrier having to travel a great distance does not normally affect the firefighting as appliances can use tactics such as relays to maintain waterlevels.
For example, another appliances will attend just to access water from a
Hydrant, Pond or River.
Water Carriers are predominately used on Farm Fires, where water is scarce.

Standard Suffolk fire engines carry approximately 1,800 litres (1.8 tonnes) of water—which can be depleted in 3–6 minutes—Water Carriers provide a significantly larger reservoir to sustain long-duration firefighting.

However in August 2012, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service relocated their
9,000-litre Water Carrier from Sudbury to Leiston ?
