Gravestone inscriptions

Post by cinnamon1 »

Does anyone know if gravestone inscriptions are available for Bures St Mary. I live in Inverness so unable to visit.

No records are available for Bures locally apart from visiting the cemetery in person.
There may be records in the Bury or Chelmsford Records Office, but not certain.

I also find gravestone inscription/transcriptions very useful - living in Australia it's very difficult getting this kind of information. I have in the past found very generous people who were happy to wander graveyards in their local village and photograph gravestones for me (where the surnames were of interest). I would love to hear from any members willing to do this in Mount Bures - I'm looking for evidence of a Clark family in Mount Bures about 1800- 1810
Thanks Judy
