Farrow Family ( Corneth/ Corn Hall cottage

Post by HeatherTaylor »

Hi! My Mum (Cynthia Farrow born 1929) lived with her family at Corneth Cottage( perhaps now known as Corn Hall Cottage) . My Granddad (Fred Farrow born 1894) worked on the farm so this would have been a tied cottage. My Gran Was Honor Elizabeth and they had three daughters; My Mum and her two sisters Irene( perhaps known as Irene Smith) and Valerie. Mum worked for Vanners in the office and married in the village church. I think they would have lived there from approx 1947-1963. Does anyone remember them? I'd also be interested in any info on the farm owner and the house they lived in which was red brick and more a house than a cottage. My Granddad had a beautiful garden full of roses. I have family photos if it would help jog anyone's mind..... Many thanks Heather
