Sidney William Eves

Post by alan »

Sidney lived in Water Lane with this parents, George and Ellen circa 1911 Census
Whilst work was being carried out at Alphamstone Church, they uncovered a plank of wood with the inscription:
"Raining Heavy S W Eves Bures Nov 18th 1910”
with another name "Alfred Newman aged 19"

The census records Sidney as "Journeyman/Carpenter

Does anyone remember Sidney and who was Alfred ?
