CARDY family in 1841 census

Post by mcardy »

There were a lot of Cardys living in the High Street in the 1841 census. Does anyone know if there are maps which would enable us to match up census entries to actual houses?

Post an address and I will see if I can locate the building for you

Many thanks for the offer.
Unfortunately, the families do not have an actual address - they are simply listed as "High Street."
Presumably the enumerator went from house to house in some sort of order but you would need the complete census
to work out who lived where.

Ok, if you give me all the names and any other information from the census, I can look it up from here on Ancestry.
That will give me some idea where the enumerator was at the time
