Wise Woman of Bures

My great great grandmother was Eliza Tokely (nee Sparkes) she was claimed to be the "Wise Woman" of Bures, Would anybody be able to define what this is or remember her? Many thanks for your help.

Hi Alan - Eliza lived in Bures from 1814 and died there in 1878.

Unfortunately the web site only looks at the period 1880 - present.
I dont hold any records going back that far, I hope you get a succesful response from someone who reads your enquiry.
